This is code I wrote. I'm working on it right now. The weird part is that tn5250_display_prev_field() will never return the same field as that which is obtained here:

Figured it out. In this particular case origfield is a bypass field. So tn5250_display_prev_field() was never returning it and the checks were failing. I now check if it is a bypass field and if so call tn5250_display_prev_field() immediately without entering the loop. Fix is in cvs.
