Today I built on another Sol9 machine and I've found

        1. What I can cut out of the previous list of steps
        2. A mistake or two

So I will shortly be submitting revised build instructions for Solaris 9.
Just thought I'd mention it in case James was about to deal with this,
I should have them in sometime tonite.
