Concerning my intermittent connection problems.
(Which, as i said are pretty much solved by 1 sec sleeps between)

My midrange 'expert' says the AS400 I use for test is particularly slow
and it is probably a timeout issue(?) and I shouldn't worry about it.
Doesn't make sense to me, but....
If you want to proceed with a diagnostic version, I will do what I can.
