unless you have an Xdefaults, then you need to solve them.

If you map *any* keys in your.Xdefaults then you need to map *all* of them. If /usr/local/share/tn5250/XTerm has most of the mappings you want and add put just one in ~/.Xdefaults, all the previous mappings will be ignored and just the one in ~/.Xdefaults will be active. That's why I used this command the first time I installed tn5250:


cat /usr/share/tn5250/XTerm >> ~/.Xdefaults

Then edited ~/.Xdefaults the way I wanted.
