There's a file called README.txt in the win32 subdirectory of the TN5250
distro that explains the compiling, etc. If it's out of date, please let
me know.

No, all that would do is print an EBCDIC SCS formatted data stream to
the command prompt :)

I haven't been able to make pipes work in Windows. It would be nice to
be able to use scs2ascii/scs2pdf/scs2ps as seperate programs like we do
in Unix, but I have no idea how to make that work nicely.

I'd love it if you could make pipes work, and submit your changes to the
project!

Personally, if it were me, I'd write an RPG program to monitor a message
queue, and then write a simple sockets program to connect to a SMTP server
(doesn't have to be on your '400, could be at your ISP or on your LAN,
etc) and just send the messages that way.

But, if using lp5250d for this means that you'll add pipe support to the
win32 version, I'm all for it! :)
