Maybe you're thinking of AHPP?  I know that AHPP was worked on around
that time.

I *think* I fixed scs2ascii in CVS...   It could use more testing.

I did not fix scs2pdf or scs2ps, however.  It appears that they also do
not handle AVPP, so they'll need to be fixed as well.  If you could work
on that it'd be appreciated.   (I lack the knowledge of PostScript or
PDF to do that part)
