Hi Steve,

That's very strange.  I cut & pasted your Control_R line into my
XTerm file, and it worked fine for me under 0.16.2, and it also
works if I use the 0.17.x version from CVS.

Is it possible that your Window Manager is intercepting that key,
instead of sending it to tn5250?   If you hit ctrl-k does it work?
