Hi,

I'm new to this list and have a rather simple question (I think ;-) that I
haven't found answered in the documentation: At our company we're using a
OS/390 Host and IBMs "Personal Communications" to connect to it (well, at least
when using Windows). Since there are some people interested in using Linux as
the Workstation-OS of choice, I need a way to connect to the host system using
a proper application.
I read that tn3270 and tn5250 are quite the same, so I'm wondering if it is
possible to use the tn5250-App to perform this task. Currently, when trying to
connect I'm just sitting infront of a black screen.
I tried the tn3270 before, but this app is rather old and lacks some features
the tn3270-protocole supports - colors for example.

Thanks for your answer,
Christian
