That patch was a "quick-fix" to get you up and running.  It's not
the "proper solution."  That's why I didn't commit it to CVS.

I'm not 100% sure what the "proper solution" is.  The problem is that
the utility.h file requires glib.h.  Should it?  Should glib.h be required
by every program that links to lib5250, or should it only be required for
compiling lib5250 itself?

If it should be required when linking against lib5250, shouldn't it 
be reported by tn5250-config?   If it shouldn't be required, where
should the #include <glib.h> be, instead of in utility.h?

So, when these questions have been answered, I'll commit a fix to
CVS.  Until then, you should use the patch.
