Because the 5250 window has to be of a fixed size for the font in it to
render properly,
basically.  Apparently, in Gnome 1.2, we have the ability to scale
fonts, so I should be
able to implement the feature that you want.  No promises, as there
aren't enough hours
in the day right now ;-)
