I disagree.  Most users here, and in every AS/400 site I have worked in, have 
gotten used to being able to quickly hit Shift-Esc, 1, Enter to switch to an 
alternate session.  Not allowing the shortcut slows this process down 
dramatically.  By the same token, Shift-Esc, 6, Enter is a wonderfully quick way
to check *SYSOPR messages, and so on.

Mild correction: it's not a line of underlines, it's an entry field with the 
cyan colour attribute (ergo column-separated), 78 characters wide on line 24.

[note: Shift-Esc is the default Client Access key mapping for SysReq.  It's a 
good one, because it's easy to do quickly.]
