  • Subject: Field Plus -- its not just for breakfast anymore!

(Sorry, I accidentally deleted Mr. Felice's most recent reply on the
topic of field plus handling, so I can't quote it back... but he said
something to the effect of "field plus isnt set up in tn5250, so didnt
work in gnome-5250" and then he went on to say that its fixed in CVS.)

Okay, I see what I did... in my keyboard maps for the xterm & console
versions of tn5250, I have my keypad "+" key mapped to field exit, rather
than field plus :) (I rarely work with negative numbers, so this isnt much
of an issue for me)

I updated my sources from CVS, and tried the new field plus. It works
great in numeric fields, but gives an "X II" (need to press error reset
to continue) in a character field.

On dumb terminals (and in other emulators) the field plus key, when used
in a character field, acts just like field exit does...
