P.S. Okay, okay.  Sorry about that, I was a little boneheaded.  I was jumping
     back and forth in the email and meant to delete the "Make sure it says"
     line.

     It is loading the wrong termcap entry.  If you do a tracefile, it should
     log the value of $TERM near the top, is it really getting set to
     xterm-5250?
