I'm curious what advantages there are in having the portal solution on
the 400/iSeries?

Personally running our web server external to the iSeries has been far
less challenging.

Hi All,

We're on a market for a portal solution on AS/400.

Few pre-requisites:

1. Should run under any web server - Tomcat, tcServer

2. Our existing intranet app should be easy integrated into new
portal

3. Role based security and content management

4. 'Out of the box' ready portal design templates.

5. Ability to serve content that is located on another web server
(Micro Strategy dashboards)

6. Web search capability

7. User authentication against Active Directory

Any comments are welcome!
