Hi,

I found some strange behaviour. Perhaps anybody can help me out of this.
I have implemented following lines of code:

AS400JDBCDataSource ds= new AS400JDBCDataSource("192.168.2.2" ,"XXX",
"XXX");
try{
ds.getConnection().createStatement().executeUpdate("INSERT INTO k54d1.WFO
(WFOSCHL) VALUES ('§ÄÄÄÖÖÖ' )",java.sql.Statement.RETURN_GENERATED_KEYS);
}
catch (SQLException e)
{
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
}
After executing the statement i can find the entry but the text is not
correct. The carrecters I can see are:
@¢¢¢\\\
When using same code but with java.sql.Statement.NO_GENERATED_KEYS, or
without 2nd parameter, then everything is ok. All characters are correct.

Do I use the parameter in the way it is not specified?
Is there another way to retreave the generated keys?

Thanks in advanced for any advie or help.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Andreas Fritz
