were problems with it. But I did ask to make sure, and got this
response from one of the NetBeans developers:

We don't either. We have decided that we need Java stuff (including web servers etc) as a component, not as a framework. Jetty has worked very nicely for us in that regard. The Jetty programmers have created a very elegant piece of software, and their code ooze that quality feel.
