Be sure to re-apply the latest Java related cumulative fixes after
installing a product option of 5722JV1. I ran into that one when
installing the 32 bit JVM for J2SE5 (product option 8) for the mini web
app server (IWAS).

Our staff installed product option 8 then the IWAS PTFs, but didn't
re-apply the Java fixes. The 32 bit JVM wasn't current on the Java PTFs
so the web app server wouldn't run. Had to wait for another IPL before
we could use it.

Did anyone experience any issues with JDBC connectivity or any other
kind of problems on iSeries with installation of J2SE 5.0 (also known as
Java Development Kit 1.5.0) on AS/400 box. Any insights& precautions
appreciated.
