Let me clarify. Without a plug-in of some sort, a tiff will not properly
display in a website like a JPG or PNG will. Not everyone will have the
required plugin installed. If it is meant for web site consumption, it is
best to convert to a JPG or PNG. If you are deep-linking to a
full-resolution file, then proceed.
