Hi Joe,

In addition to the links Gary sent, you might also review

The properties for v5r4 are here:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/rzahh/jdbcproper
ties.htm#jdbcproperties

Have a look at "transaction isolation" to see if that's what you're after.

See
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/rzahh/jdbcdrvr.h
tm under "Example: Connecting to the server database and using a uniform
resource locator (URL) to specify properties" for specifying the
properties
on the URL.

HTH,
Gary

Subject: JDBC conncetion options on URL

Does anybody have a list of or a link to the various options you can
specify on the connection URL for connecting to DB2 on the i? I'm
specifically talking about the jdbc:as400 URL. I remember there were
things like naming (system vs. SQL) and some others. Specifically I'd
like the option to turn off commitment control, but even more I'd like
to see some examples and a list of the options.

Thanks!

Joe
