I want to get the change date of a file by JT400. I tried the
FileAttributes Class and the getChangeDate method. The problem I see
is that this method returns the change date of the DSPOBJD. And this
date is only refreshed after a save :-( So how can I get a current
change date by JT400?

The /change date/ of data is maintained by the member. The date can be obtained as an attribute of the /file/ in the directory of the *FILE in the /QSYS.LIB, or from the member using a method that gets the date using the QUSRMBRD API. Note: If the *FILE is a PF-SRC, then the date of interest is the /source change date/ rather than the change date. Note: The change date for the member includes changes other than those to the data... which is true for the file object as well.
