I personally don't see that a preference or a possibility has to become
an argument. IMO alternatives are good whether one uses them or not. If
anyone considered my +1 for netbeans to be starting a "my dog is bigger than
yours" thing, then consider it withdrawn.

There's supposed to be a JSR in process out there for standardizing
configuration across implementations. If we can ever get to that, then
everyone can pretty much use what suits them, with few consequences (other than poor design or bugs in a chosen tool, of course). Then the dogfights over IDE's can be done at your local bar, except I'll be listening to the music.
