You should use Java Tool Box driver, even native driver is availiable.
I dad so many problems when using both drivers based on different run
time environment. The problem such as connection pooling, the drivers
work differently. Plus you may want to try OR mapping tool later, like
Hibernate. It is much easier to use one diver to setup the
configuration file.
