Actually, I am seeing the problem when I attempt to use the SAV command to
a previous release on the System i. I was chatting with David Gibbs with
AIM. From his suggestion, I did a DLTJVAPGM on the against the java
program. I was then able to process the SAV command to a previous release.

So, it was not the JAVAC command at all.

Thanks for the reply and thanks to David for the help.

Maybe it is too later in the week. I can not understand your question
clearly. Are you trying to use javac on AS400?

 Regards.

It is probably too late in the week to be thinking clearly. However, I
need to compile a java source into a class member to an earlier release.
Up to this point, I have not been able to locate a reference to JAVAC
parameters and/or variables.

Would some one point me in the right direction?

Thank you in advance.
