Apache Axis Schema Validation -- JAVA400-L

I am fairly new to Axis and am trying to determine if Axis will validate
Objects using a schema.  I have used Castor in the past to build Bean
objects from a schema, which are then validated when unmarshalling.  Does
anyone know how Axis does this?  In other words, when I receive an object
from an agency, I would prefer to validate it using a schema versus coding
validation.
