FYI: This control is generally called a Tree View. I would suggest that you check out getting a component for this. I found one through some quick searching that works with Struts (which is a framework for making . A group has developed a Layout extension to it that allows you to create DHTML tree views with JSP tags. http://struts.application-servers.com/doc/tags/treeview.html There are probably other components that may assist you in this effort as well, which you should be able to find by searching for "Tree view", and what ever language you want to implement the tree view in (Java, JSP, DHTML, etc).
