I'm new to Java and web services. I'm trying to create a simple service that
will call a program on the iSeries and return a date from a data file. When I
test the web service the message 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/ibm/as400/access/AS400' is displayed in the return SOAP envelope body. Am
I correct in thinking this class should be part of the Java toolbox?

I'm using WDSc to create the services and the toolbox I'm using was installed
with WDSc. We recently upgraded to a new I5 system with V5R3. Should I
download an updated version from the I5?

How do I check what version of the toolbox I'm using?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rick
