The "suggestions" are no longer overt (like the hamburger ad) but are more
insidious.  "Visits" by senior IBMers nearly always seem to leave the
impression that following the Roadmap to the complete replacement of RPG is
the only way to go.  Part of the problem is that there isn't really a single
road map.  The version that some IBMers use is much less "get rid of RPG" in
its orientation than others.

Java as _the_ iSeries direction?  Well if you include WebSphere, JSPs etc.
in the term "Java" it is a pretty clear message isn't it?
