local connection it should work (theory!)

That's the theory ... unfortunately, it doesn't prove out. My original plan was to connect to server 'localhost', with userid & password '*CURRENT', and the libraries set to '*LIBL'. But it didn't work.


I've got a viable workaround... so I'm not going to sweat over it.
