Hi,
I have some in-process Tomcat servlets runing on an AS400. I needed to pass an
init parameter to the servlets and could not see how to do this through the HTTP
admin gui (http://hostname:2001/HTTPAdmin) ASF Tomcat Settings page. I edited
the web.xml file directly in directory:
/www/mqserver1/webapps/app1/WEB-INF
where mqserver1 is the HTTP server and app1 is the url path to the application,
adding:

 <init-param>
    <param-name>
       parmFile
    </param-name>
    <param-value>
       /coop_mq/JS_MQEventProcessing.properties
    </param-value>
 </init-param>

It all works fine! Is editing web.xml the normal way to do this kind of thing or
can it be done through the HTTP Admin screens?

Thanks in advance,
Pat
