Is there a method to retrieve the password from an AS400JDBCDriver
connection?

I am using my own panel for the user to enter in the username and
password.
I pass the values to the connection via.
Class.forName("com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver");
iSeriesConnection =
DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:as400://iSeriesSystem/apilib;naming=sq
l;errors=full;date format=iso",
                                    myUserName,
                                    myPassword);

However if the username or password is incorrect, the default Login
panel appears and allows the user to reenter the values. It appears
that I can retrieve the username by
iSeriesConnection.getMetaData().getUserName();

Is there a technique to get the password that is entered, so that I can
use the value elsewhere in the application?

Thanks in advance.
