Accessing network shares

Hello,
        I was curious if there is an easy way to access a windows file
share from the 400 via Java. My initial impression is no, there isn't.
However, I don't want to give up that easily.

        Basically I need a way to make it possible for my users to
simply share a folder on their windows desktop machine, and then access
the files in it from the AS/400 with my Java program.

        Is there some way to mount a windows share or something like
that on the 400. I did a couple searches on Google and didn't come up
with anything useful. I appreciate the help, and if I should post this
question to a different list, let me know. Thanks!
