The only things to guess howto track real-time the journal changes :).
Yes, i like to perform some additional steps based on the changed tables.
Possible to write a  "java-service" to OS400?

The iSeries has something called a Journal which can be used to track
changes to files.  The journal can record all changes to all files that you
point to it.  This may be a bit much for you, however.  Are you looking to
do some audit trail type functions, or do you need to perform some other
action based on a change?
