Good point. They used to have "Remote" AWT for Java. Not sure if that still exists, but I heard it was painfully slow (as I can imagine).

Anyway, I think this thread has gotten a little off track. My last message was a response to Ivan's question that he asked after answering my original question.

Anybody else have a good way to measure programmer productivity?
