I think the JVM must still be active for the DMPJVM command to work.
Therefore, if you issued the command from the same interactive session in
which the JVM was run previously, that is probably why it did not work.

Does anyone know how to use the DMPJVM commande. Following an RPG who uses a
Java Method and following recent discussions with Jon Paris , I wanted to
see if this would list active classes (objects)  My tests where from an
interactive 5250 session and it is with these  parameters that I evoked the
command unsucessfully. 

 Paramètres ou commande                              
 ===> DMPJVM JOB(566534/QPADEV0022/C_PAPWORTH)       
 F3=Exit     F4=Invite                  F5=Réafficher
 F9=Rappel   F10=Entrée de commandes    F23=Autres op
 Travail non trouvé.
