some questions about calling Java from RPG

Hi,
I have been able to call Java program from RPG and
then create the PDF file as required.
Here are some things i would like to find
1. When i call the Java program for the first time
from RPG it takes a lot of time, as i guess it is
creating the Java envoirnment, but the calls after
that are fast.
How can i speed the process when calling first time.
2. How does the Activation group affect it, right now
i am using *Caller while creating my RPG program
3. How can i make sure that all the java objects are
garbage collected, i am using code from
