Hi David,

We are at V5R1 and java -version says 1.3.1.

How can I "specify the version on javac and java".
Is the javac -target parametre that I must specify ?

It's possible that classes into googleapi.jar are at 1.4. Is this the problem ?

Thanks.

Adele,

I haven't tried running that demo but that would generally indicate
that you
compiled against one version of a jar/jdk and are running it against
another.
If you compiled on the iSeries, you might specify the version on both
the
javac and java commands.

I'm trying to play with Google Api's service.

I compiled the GoogleAPIDemo but when I try to run it i get the
following errors:

java/lang/Error.()V+1 (Error.java:37)

java/lang/LinkageError.()V+1 (LinkageError.java:29)

java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError.()V+1
(NoClassDefFoundError.java:33)
java/lang/ClassLoader.defineClass(Ljava/lang/String;[BIILjava/security/ProtectionDomain;)
. . . . .
. . . . and some more

What is missing ?

Thanks.
