Sorry to prolong the thread, but I should mention the following:

   You should probably add something at the end of your apps, or better, a
shutdown hook in your ToolboxDataSource class, that invokes
AS400JDBCConnectionPool.close() so you don't leave tied up resources on
the database side.

Fortunately, there's already a finalizer that will handle cleanup for you on garbage collection. Best,
