This is incorrect.  The servers are part of the base operating system, and
so are included automatically.  The client portion is basically just a
couple of JAR files.  The licensed product version is 5722JC1, and it is a
no-charge product.  The JTOpen version, as Mr. Gibbs points out, is also
free and includes source.  It is generally also a bit ahead of the LPP.

If you're worried about support, IBM supports JTOpen as the "fast path"
version of the LPP, as you can read at the JTOpen home page:
