i know cause i use eclipse on my linux box and it's great. but i think
that with swt you have another dependency and another library you have
to add to the class path and another file on the disk and one you have
to additionaly distribute with your apps. and of course more classes and
methods you have to know about.

that is enough for me to say no. there is allready so much to learn and
to know about and swt is one thing i don't necessarily need. the
standard works just fine for me. (just my 2 cents)

but that has everyone to decide for himself.

I know you're talking about the Windows look and feel, Mihael, but SWT
also runs on Linux and Macintosh, in case you were wondering.  SWT is
the basis for the entire Eclipse IDE, which runs many platforms.
