Yes,
the SMTP server (is an AS/400) is accessed in the exact same way over its IP 
address, this work from Win clients but not from an AS/400
client (same JDK and PTS's level).

Someone know where/how the domain name is read from Java ?  Is the client or 
the AS/400 SMTP server ?
