I too was confused by the reference to multi-threading. Yes, I know that
Java has multi-threading built into it, and I know what it is. I also know
that the 400 has only recently supported threading properly. But my
question was, So what? I don't need multi-threading to get the invoices out
or to count the inventory. In fact threading has never been neede for
anything in our business system. So it's a non-issue if you're comparing
RPG to Java, at least for me.

Sorry Mr. Pluta,

excuse me, I didn't recognize that this is a rpg hardliner mailing list.
It's
foolish, that a statement pro java is flame in a java-400l mailing list. And
its foolish, that I have to declare a man, who is teaching java, what is
multithreading, sorry, I won't do again.
