Environment settings

Hello !

My name is Dan and I am kind of a newbie on AS400 (I am not a newbie on
Java though !)

the project I'm working on involves calling some RPG programs on AS/400
(maybe you've heard about Equation, the banking system from Misys, formerly
Midas - Kapiti), but these programs require some environment to be set
first.
Question is... If I develop some CL Program that sets the environment of
the RPG prog and then runs Java (that actually runs the RPG prog) will Java
keep my environment settings or it will change it ?
