We use it with two applications:
- a typical java application. We use Xerces and Xalan
to manage and transform XML document, without any problem.
I think that the version is 1.4.3

- a websphere application. We use to run FOP and generate
PDF documents

We had some problems with Webpshere:
- Xerces and Xalan have to be before IBM XML parser
in the classpath (else you have problems to start WAS).
- the jar files had to be compiled and the appropriate
right had to be given to QEJBSVR and QEJB to access the jar file (being in
the classpath is not enough)

Subject: Xerces XML parser

Does anyone use the Apache Xerces XML parser on the 400? If so, what
versions are being used and what, if any, issues were found when running
this parser on the 400?

Thanks for your help!

Mike
