Disconnect using system.disconnectService(AS400.COMMAND)?

 AS400 system = new AS400("MRCBOX");
system.disconnectService(AS400.COMMAND)

 When program runs a job QZSOSIGN is added (WRKACTJOB). After the program
ends, This job does not go away. Does this mean the disconnection does not
work?
