Files are under journal.

It is the statement 'Class.forName("com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver");
which already gives errors.
I want to use this driver to access AS400 from within VAJAVA (or the
web).

Do I understand it right that I should be able to use it from the web
but not from within VAJAVA?

I think you cannot use the native DB2 driver ouside the AS/400.

Are your files under journal ?

Ciao.
