Do a WRKLNK
'/qibm/userdata/Java400/SystemDefault.properties'

Put a 8 by it to display the attributes.

What is your "Coded character set ID"?

Mine is 37.

If yours is not 37, try deleting the file, create the
file on your PC, copy it to the AS/400.

running it from QSH, you will need to end QSH with F3, then
come back in and try it. That is the only thing I can think
of right now. It works for me just fine. I can't recall

hour before !!!
  The system time is correct and the system value QUTCOFFSET
is set correct (+1);

  How to have the correct time on java apps ?
  Is there a Locale to set ? If yes where ?
