Peter,

What error are you getting from Tomcat? You do need the 1.2
JDK.. To run JSP pages you also have to make sure to add
the Java tools jar that contains Javac to your classpath.

Group,

Is it possible to run Apache Tomcat on OS/400 V4R3?

Is there any other way to serve JSPs or Jservlets?

I have my AS400 (V4R3) set up to serve web pages using CGIDEV2.

And I can run the JAVA HelloWorld program from within QSHELL.

But I cannot start Apache Tomcat 4.0.2 to serve JSPs or Jservlets.

Does it need the $200 optional extra for QSHELL to run?

Or is that not sufficient?

TIA.

Peter Lunde
