Are your servlets in a web application, or are they unconfigured (correct
term?) servlets. VAJ 4 uses a later version of the servlet specification,
in which different web applications cannot share a session. This is
different from 3.5. I don't have the servlet specification at hand, but I
suspect that the unconfigured servlets cannot share a session either. This
is just a guess, could be wrong, but it may be your problem.
