hi,

userspace is a memory space which you can create (also from java via
toolbox/jtopen) and fill with data via OS400 api. i used it to put the
definition of a file in it (OS400 api: QUSLFLD) . that worked so far. i
think you could retrieve it with the OS400 api QUSRTVUS. but didn't get it
to work, yet.
