Another question:

I have the Java batch programs run on AS400. After a user signed on the
AS400 from the emulator, the user invokes the Java program from QShell or by
using RUNJVA command. In this case, how could the Java program get the
current user ID?

Thanks for any helps.

Wayne

   The AS400 (connection) object has a .getUserID()
method that returns a String.
URL = "jdbc:as400://mysystem/database" +
myAS400.getUserID();

Hope this helps,
